The Hotel
Quality Inn & Suites near Lake Eufaula
One suite for all five of us: 2 queens plus a sofa bed, and 2 bathrooms, which is the part that matters with five people getting ready for a conference every morning. About 10 minutes from Lakepoint State Park, and roughly half the cost of staying at the venue.

Worth knowing: the conference is at Lakepoint State Park, and there is a marina, golf, and a restaurant on site for downtime between sessions. No swimming in the lake itself (alligators), the park pool covers that. Hotel totals are estimates until booked; rates were pulled Aug 13 and move daily.
